# SPACETREK's Infinity Dome Theatre > Permanent 360° dome theatres for schools, resorts and spiritual centres in India. Each dome is a fully welded steel arc structure (no screws, built to last 20+ years) with full-dome projection and 5.1 Dolby sound, installed turnkey in 5–6 weeks by Space Trek Mobile Planetarium Services, Trichy, Tamil Nadu. Website: https://www.dometheatre.org/ ## What it is - A permanent, walk-in dome theatre. The inside of the dome is a seamless 360° projection screen, so the audience is surrounded by the show. - Structure: 30 fully welded steel arcs on a brick-ring foundation, with a crown ring, a light-trap entrance vestibule and reflective cooling paint. It is not inflatable and not fabric. - Two builds: Single-Skin (for indoor or shaded sites and evening shows) and Dual-Skin (an insulated second skin for comfortable daytime shows outdoors, with zero water seepage and zero light leaks). - Equipment: laser Full HD projector with a Newtonian mirror 360° system, 5.1 Dolby surround sound, 2-ton air conditioning with ventilation, dimmable LED lighting and wood-grain vinyl flooring. - Capacity: a 7m dome seats 30–50 people; larger domes seat up to 70–80. - Operation: any staff member can run shows after a half-day training. No calibration and no AV specialist needed. ## Shows - 70+ full-dome shows are ready to play from day one. - Shows are available in vernacular (Indian regional) languages. - Space Trek has the capability to build custom shows for an institution: curriculum topics, temple heritage, devotional stories or a resort's signature show. ## Who it's for - **Schools, colleges and science parks:** a dome-shaped classroom that works as a 360° curved-screen theatre, a planetarium and an activity room. It is used every day by every grade, and it's a showpiece for admissions. - **Resorts and tourist destinations:** a paid, all-weather attraction. Tickets usually start from ₹100 per person, with several shows a day. Rainy days and evenings become busy hours. - **Temples, mutts, ashrams and spiritual centres:** a new way to experience faith. Sacred stories, temple history and cosmology are shown in 360° in the pilgrims' own regional language. ## Live installations you can visit - **Yercaud Planetarium**, Yercaud, Tamil Nadu: Tamil Nadu's first dome theatre at a hill-station resort, combining dome shows with telescope stargazing. - **QuadSeek Forum**, Thiruvarur, Tamil Nadu: a permanent dome at a science park. ## How to buy 1.
